Hi! I’m Bre. Nice to meet you.

Health, home, and happiness; that’s truly all we need, isn’t it? I’m on a journey toward slow living, mindfulness, and prioritizing my health, little family, home, and happiness above all else. It may be cliche, but we only live once, so it’s my goal to be deeply rooted in what gives me life and brings me joy.

My hope for this space is that you’ll find what truly makes me tick — and that it’ll spark joy and inspiration in you, too. For me, it’s family time, home decor, DIY, cooking, baking, and reading. We purchased our first home in October 2020, and I’m excited to bring you along on the journey of turning our cookie-cutter house into a home.

If I’ve learned anything in this life so far, it’s that getting back to your roots never fails you. I’m excited to dedicate more time to the things that bring me joy, and document it along the way. So glad you’re here!

bringing the heart of your home to life

They say your “special sauce” is the thing that comes naturally to you. The one that you get the most unprompted compliments on. For me, that’s interior design. I’ve been loving making our cookie-cutter house a home over the last few years and am excited to offer interior design services! I can partner with you on anything from a 45-minute virtual consultation to holiday decor to home staging to a full remodel.

Life with the family in the Pacific Northwest

I'm happily married to the handsome fella above. Tim and I met in Southern California where we both spent the majority of our "growing up" years. We dated for about 5 years before he popped the question on New Year's Eve in 2013 and were married on July 25, 2015.

We moved to Portland after visiting for the Oregon Brewer's Festival in 2013. We just absolutely fell in love with the city and after that, there was no stopping us! It's been a very serendipitous experience; we definitely feel like we're meant to be here.

In April 2023, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Adeline, after a lengthy hospital stay where I battled severe preeclampsia. Our angel girl arrived at just 30 weeks and 3 days and spent a total of 52 days in the NICU. To say it was the hardest 3 months of our lives is an understatement. We are so lucky we had so much support from our family, friends, and work families. We truly couldn’t have made it through without them. Through this journey, I’ve found a new purpose in raising awareness and support of maternal health, especially blood pressure disorders in pregnancy, and helping families going through their own NICU journeys.

When I’m not DIYing, interior designing, baking, reading, or helping NICU families, I’m spending time with my family and pup and working full-time as a marketing professional.
